Data-gated beta

Moonlight Peaks Gift Finder

Search known Moonlight Peaks gifts by character or item, inspect confidence and source revisions, and preview a private local gift log.

This beta publishes eight source-pinned gift observations for Death and no unpinned character rows. It is intentionally smaller than the internal research set: a useful finder must explain an unknown result instead of turning missing evidence into a reaction.

Public data boundary

Moonlight Peaks Gift Finder coverage and unknowns

The public beta contains only reproducible records from one fixed source revision. Other researched gifts stay out of the result set until their evidence can be reopened and checked.

Public characters 1

Death is the only character whose current gift subset has a fixed source revision in this build.

Known results 8

Every result is explicitly non-exhaustive. A missing item is unknown, not automatically disliked or neutral.

Corroborated rows 3

These rows have support beyond the fixed community revision. Corroborated still does not mean official.

Fixed revision oldid 4660

The revision can be reopened later, which makes changes and corrections traceable instead of relying on a moving page.

How to read the beta

Use a result without turning a gap into an answer

The useful part of a gift tool is not just a colored reaction label. It is knowing what was observed, how strong the evidence is, and what remains outside the dataset.

01

Start with the evidence label

“Corroborated” means the fixed community record also has supporting observation. “Fixed community revision” means the statement is reproducible but has not been independently confirmed here. Neither label should be read as an official developer rule.

02

Treat empty results as unknown

The finder does not convert absence into Neutral, Disliked, or Hated. It also does not extend three observed trash items into a rule for every object that looks like trash. Each public item needs its own evidence row.

03

Keep personal observations separate

The local log lets players note what they gave and what happened. Those notes stay in the browser and never silently overwrite the shared result, raise its confidence, or claim to represent another platform.

Private progress tool

Keep a local gift observation log

Save what happened in your playthrough without changing the shared result. The versioned log stays in this browser unless you export it.

Your saved observations

Private browser data; never mixed into public confidence.

No saved observations.

Your log is empty. Saving a row here does not submit it to this site.

    Gift Finder FAQ

    Coverage, searches and saved notes

These answers describe the present beta rather than the larger tool planned after more revisions are pinned.

How do I find gifts for a character?

The current server-rendered beta shows Death because that is the only character with a fixed gift-source revision in the public dataset. Character selection will activate after more profiles pass the same gate. Until then, use the visible eight-row subset rather than assuming an unavailable character has no known reactions.

Can I search an item to see who may like it?

Yes, within the qualified public subset. Switch to Item → character and search an item to see whether the current fixed dataset has a match. Today every result belongs to Death, so the interface explicitly reports one qualified character rather than implying a complete town-wide reverse lookup. Filter state stays on this canonical page.

Is this a complete Moonlight Peaks gift list?

No. Every current record is marked non-exhaustive, and the page deliberately uses “known results” rather than “complete list.” Loved, Liked, Neutral, Disliked, and Hated categories may contain additional items. A blank category or missing character means that reproducible evidence has not been published here yet.

What does an empty result mean?

It means only that the current public dataset has no matching fixed record. It does not mean the item causes a neutral or negative reaction, and it does not prove the item cannot be gifted. The empty state will keep that wording even after filters are active so missing evidence never becomes an invented game rule.

Where will personal gift notes be stored?

The active log uses local browser storage and a versioned JSON import or export file. It does not sync across devices, submit observations automatically, or modify shared confidence labels. Imported files are validated before replacing the current log, and you can clear the browser copy from the same panel.
